Emergency Evacuations
Teachers and students regularly practice emergency procedures. These include safe exits in the event of fire, procedures during lock down drills and evacuation locations. Students will undergo several drills over the next few weeks in order to prepare them for these events. If an evacuation of the site occurs, our alternate location is St. Roch Secondary school.
Behaviour Code
The School Behaviour Code is based on the code developed by the school board in response to the Ministry's safe school initiative. It is located in the front matter of the school agenda for your information. Thank you once again to the parent council for supporting the purchase of the school agenda for students, through fundraising efforts.
Medication & Epi-Pens
If a child is required to being medication to school, procedures related to the administration of medication are available from the office. Doctor's documentation must be on file in the office prior. Please ensure EPI-PENS, Puffers and allergy medications are returned to the school this week to ensure we have them in case of an emergency. Students who carry puffers and EPI-PENS on them should make this aware to their classroom teacher. Proper forms must be completed.
